I WAS AN ENTREPRENEUR IN GRADE 2
My first outing into being an entrepreneur came at 7 years old. I used to buy used "cool" toys that were deemed "inappropriate" by my classmates' parents, and then resell them to the older kids on the playground.
My teachers weren't too happy when they found out, nor were the parents.
But the sense of success and adventure was there, and it's been impossible to shake ever since.
Turning 16, I directed my attention to learning web design and building websites for local businesses. That summer, a local hair salon was referred to me to ask one question; "how can I get more people to see my website when people type 'best hair salon' into Google?"
I had no idea, but it was the trigger that started an exciting adventure...
BECOMING AN AFFILIATE MARKETER
After learning the basics of SEO and helping several small businesses establish their online presence for valuable keywords, I began to see the potential of turning Google searches into revenue.
It wasn't long before I discovered affiliate marketing and a plethora of advertisers, companies, and vendors looking for affiliates like myself to help sell their wares to a hungry worldwide online audience.
My first affiliate commission, for medical acne cream, was one of the most satisfying moments I'd experienced and I was immediately hooked to the open world of affiliate marketing.
THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN
In the years since, I became an affiliate in almost every vertical imaginable; medication, diet pills, dating sites, credit card offers, pay-per-call services, bizopp, adult entertainment, ecommerce products, and more.
Basically, if you can sell it as an affiliate, I've probably tried to sell it.
As an introvert I thrived on the anonymity of affiliate marketing. There's something oddly bond-villain-esque about connecting buyers with products/services and those buyers never even knowing I exist as a part of the process. Devilish.
100,000 INFOPRENEURS
In 2017, I started mentoring a few affiliate marketers and discovered a passion for working with others to help them overcome struggles in their conversion rates, funnel optimization, and more.
Soon, this passion lead to opportunities to create my own educational resources to help beginner affiliate marketers earn their first commissions online.
It's been a rewarding journey, and it's since become my mission to help 100,000 people become infopreneurs and operate a successful online business as affiliate marketers or digital product creators.
